Power Solutions, a segment within the Company, is leading the way in exploring new markets. Building on our oil & gas subsea expertise, we are now expanding into subsea power distribution for the renewable energy market.
What will you be doing?
- Responsible for Mechanical Design of products and components.
- Creating, checking, and approving materials and drawings according to standards.
- Perform tolerance analysis and ensure design-for-manufacture.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain.
- Support design reviews and contribute to continuous improvements.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation and BOMs.
Requirements
We think you should have:
- 5 years’ experience in Mechanical Design.
- Proficiency with CAD Solidworks and SAP.
- Experience in Design for Manufacturing.
- Ability to create, check, and approve mechanical drawings.
- Ability to conduct mechanical calculations for design verifications.
- Experience from Defence Industry is an advantage.
- Proactive and innovative – advantage if the candidate is eligible for a security clearance.
- Fluent in English and Norwegian.
- BSc in mechanical design or engineering.
