Function
Join a global team energizing the transformation of industry and society for a more productive, sustainable future. We are looking for a Senior Project Engineer to strengthen our Cyber, IT, and Automation team in Stavanger. In this role, you’ll work with advanced automation systems, focusing on cyber security and operational technology (OT) for both Norwegian and international customers.
Your Responsibilities
- Execute projects involving cyber security, OT networks, and automation systems for process industries.
- Design, implement, document, and test solutions for traditional and virtual control systems.
- Integrate and secure virtual control systems and large-scale networks.
- Stay updated on new technologies (e.g., firewalls, switches, servers, network monitoring, threat detection, resilience to cyber-attacks).
- Ensure delivery is compliant with relevant standards (e.g., IEC 62443) and customer requirements.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and share your expertise.
- Support project planning, execution, and commissioning—both on-site and remotely.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in networking, cyber security, automation, or similar.
- Proven hands-on experience with design, configuration, testing and installation in OT networks, IT, or cyber security in industrial environments.
- Experience with implementation of IEC 62443 standard.
- Ability to lead small technical teams and drive project delivery.
- Understanding of project economics and planning.
- Committed to quality and continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication skills in English (Norwegian is an advantage).
